Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and a huge thank you for supporting our Flyers last week with the Dine & Donate fundraiser at CA Fish Grill! 

IMPORTANT INFO FOR THIS WEEK, April 28–May 1:

• PAYMENTS: Please continue to bring your payments in. We will collect fees this week at the pool during practices. 
• SPONSORSHIP: April 30 is the last day to confirm your sponsorship in order to get your company logo on team shirts and banners. We offer 4 levels of sponsorship with accompanying benefits packages, including credit towards team and/or club membership. Submit your interest in sponsorship HERE. 
• BIG HOUSE BEANS FUNDRAISER (Now–May 9): We are grateful to partner with this very special business that is operated by one of our very own FP families.
  • Swimmers may sell dark roast and medium roast coffee beans to friends and family at $20 a bag. 40% of all sales will go back to the team and count towards your individual fundraising total. That's $8 a bag! Prizes will be awarded for the number of bags sold as well as the top selling family. 
  • You may place orders HERE. ORDERS DUE MAY 9.
• T-SHIRT SIZE: All swimmers must sign in for practice at the pool entrance. We have a column for adding in your swimmer's t-shirt size. Help us order the right size for their team shirt! 
• TEAM SUITS: Team Suit Store is closed for personalized gear, but suits can still be purchased. Click HERE for order info, including sizing guide and spirit wear. Order soon to get suits by time trials (orders take 15-18 business days to arrive).
• SAVE THE DATE: 
  • PARENT NIGHT (Orientation): May 9, Updated time: 6:30 pm, kids welcome too and there will be ice cream!
  • TIME TRIALS & BBQ: May 17
  • DINE & DONTATE: May 17, 4-8 pm at Chipotle at 5434 Ygancio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek.

PRACTICES

• Our schedule continues as follows (Monday–Thursday):

• Coaches may ask your swimmer to attend a different practice based on their ability.
• Parent/swimmer Supervision Policy: Ages 10 and under need a designated guardian on site when they are at the pool, including practice time. Ages 11 and up, supervision is only provided during swim practice times. Coaches are not responsible for supervision before or after practice times, so a designated guardian should be present for drop off and pick up before and immediately after practice.
• Practice Policies:
  • Swimmers may enter the pool only when coaches direct them to.
  • Parents: Refrain from talking to coaches on deck during practice sessions and stay in lanai or other areas away from the deck.
• Mini-Flyers:
  • Mini-Flyers will line up on yellow circles next to the pool and wait for coaches to direct them to lanes.
  • For minis ages 8 and under, with sharpie marker, write your child’s name on their back left shoulder.

JOBS

• Parent participation is essential to running successful swim meets and programs. Every job is vital, and your involvement makes it all come together.
• Job sign-ups will happen during two windows:
  • Window 1: May 10-12–Covering events and meets from May 17–June 22
  • Window 2: June 15-17–Covering events and meets from June 23–July 30
