We have our first AWAY meet tomorrow! Here’s important info about the meet and other upcoming team events.

MEET INFO

• TOMORROW (Wednesday, May 28) we swim AWAY at Forest Hills, 375 Lindsay Drive, Martinez, CA.
  • FPST warm-ups: 5:00 pm;

    Meet start: 5:30 pm

  • Forest Hills Info:
    • Parking: Only street parking is available for our team. Do not park in lot.
    • Seating: Our team can set up on the grassy hill behind the pool.
    • Playground: This is closed during meet, so please ensure our swimmers and any siblings stay out of that area.
    • Mosquitos: Bring some repellent.
    • Snack Shack: They will have food available for purchase.
  • Job Check In: Check in with Celia/Gloria between 4:45 pm and 5:10 pm to receive credit. Timers - make sure to listen for announcements asking you to meet and head to your seats for instructions.
  • OPEN JOB ALERT: We have two Shepherd positions still open for tomorrow’s meet. Click HERE, login, sign up, and earn some points!
  • Meet program will be posted by tomorrow morning to the individual meet tile on our calendar page, but upon arrival at pool look for our heat/lane bulletin board to confirm assignments.
  • Ages 8 and Unders Shepherding: We will have a purple pop-up tent where 8 and unders can meet and shepherds will take them to the blocks.
  • Don't forget to bring a sharpie to share!

• SWIM-A-THON & PANCAKE FEED: Don’t miss one our biggest fundraising events of the season on June 7! Your participation matters! There are some amazing prizes and the swimmers get to soak the coaches if we get at least 40 swimmers to sign up! Invite your friends and family to show some love to our team!
  • An email from 99 Pledges has been sent to you with a personalized giving link where you can update info about your swimmer and share an invite to donate with friends and family. Let us know if you did not receive it.
  • Sign-up for jobs and swimmer time slots: Let us know when your swimmer will do their laps and how you can help out. Many lap counters are needed for this important event! See the Swimathon event tile on our calendar to sign up like you would for a regular meet.
  • Schedule for June 7:
    • 8:15–9:15 am: Mixed Ages
    • 9:15–10:00 am: 8 and unders
    • 10:00–11:00 am: 9/10s
    • 11:00 am–12:00 pm: 11 and ups
• TEAM PICTURE DAY: Save-the-date, June 13, 7:45 am, Team Photo.
