SWIMMER INFO:
- What to Wear: We encourage all to wear their team suit if you have one, but it is not required. Don’t forget caps, goggles, towels, and something warm to wear in between events.
- Have a team suit that's still in good condition but no longer fits? Consider donating it to another swimmer on our team. We will set up a box to collect donations starting this Thursday.
- Meet Prep & Procedures: When available, the meet program, which details when and which events a swimmer is doing will be available on the calendar. Mark on your swimmer’s hand/arm their events. Click HERE to learn more about meet terms, structure, how to read the meet program, and how to mark events on swimmers.
- Ages 8 and Under should additionally have their name and age written on the back right shoulder.
- 8 and Under Shepherding:
- Several events in advance, swimmers ages 8 and under should be brought by their caregivers to the covered awning area next to the pool.
- The volunteer Shepherd will then help swimmers line up in event lane order on the yellow circles and bring them each to their assigned lane, but parents should remain in the area until swimmers are brought to the blocks.
- If for any reason, a parent is bringing their child directly to the block, please let the Shepherd know.
- What to bring:
- Our usual seating area under the covered area will be limited. Our bleachers may be set up, but many families choose to bring chairs, pop-up tents, etc. to be comfortable during the meet.
- Don’t forget your Buddy Sheet!
