FPST Update, WED, 6/3: Morning Practices & AWAY Dual Meet

Hi Flyer Families, 

Quick reminder about practices and our AWAY meet tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3. 

Morning practice schedule is:

SUMMER: M–F schedule, June 3-July 24

11/12’s (with 3+ years of experience)
13/14s (with < 3 years of experience)		7:40–8:40 AM
15-18
13/14 (with 3+ years of experience)		8:40–9:55 AM
Mini Flyers
Beginner 8 & Under		10:00–10:30 AM
Advanced 8 and Under10:35 –11:15 AM
9/10’s
11/12’s (with < 3 years of experience)		11:20 AM–12:15 PM 

AWAY DUAL MEET:  Wednesday, June 3, Walnut Country, 4465 South Larwin Avenue, Concord, CA; Warm Ups, 5:00-5:20 pm; Meet begins at 5:30 pm.

MEET PROGRAM:  Is posted on calendar event tile HERE. 

  • See different attachments that show swimmer event assignments various ways.
  • Check relay sheet to confirm whether or not your swimmer is in a relay race.
  • Don't forget to check the board (even at Away meets) in our team area with final event assignments. 

MEET STRUCTURE & POLICIES: 

  • Arrive at pool 4:15 - 4:45 pm
    • Free parking is available throughout the neighborhood; please do not block driveways
  • Coaches scratch meeting at data desk 4:55 pm
  • Visiting team warm-ups 5:00 - 5:20 pm
  • Timers training, stroke and turn meeting 5:15 pm
  • National Anthem 5:25 pm
  • FACILITIES/TEAM AREA 
    • Each team has been assigned an area of the lawn to the North of the pool. The visiting team will be along the side nearest the Lawson Court. 8 & U staging area is on the pool deck under the pergola. See the facilities map in the appendix for reference 
    • Please note on the facilities map that there is one designated ENTRY GATE to the pool deck and one designated EXIT GATE to the team areas
    • Please bring your own chairs as no deck furniture will be available 
    • No phone allowed in the restrooms and changing in the restrooms is discouraged 
    • The toddler pool is closed 
    • The snack shack will have a variety of delicious food and drink options at reasonable prices.
