FAST SUITS & GOGGLES FOR SALE, Thursday, June 11, 8:30–11:30 am: We’re excited to have Roque, former Olympian, make his annual stop at our pool. He will have fast suits and goggles for sale. It’s a great way to do a fitting and purchase all in one day–just in time for our upcoming invitationals!

MEET UPDATE (For Team Members and Minis who have been directly asked to participate in meets):  

• Wed, 6/10, HOME MEET vs. Ygnacio Wood | 5:15 pm Meet Start Time - PLEASE NOTE EARLIER START TIME!
• Not attending but missed the sign-out deadline? Please email Coach Jeff, [email protected] & Amy, Meet Director, [email protected] right away to help us avoid delays during the meet.
  • FPST WARM UPS: 4:15–4:40 pm
  • FAMILY SEATING: Help welcome the visiting team by making sure they have space. FPST should be set up closer to the lanai side of the grass (next to gate/parking lot).
  • MEET PROGRAM: This is posted to the individual meet tile on our calendar page and on home page, right column. Heat sheets are also posted there.
  • Upon arrival ALL swimmers/parents must check the Heat/Lane bulletin board (by the awning/covered area by pool) to confirm final assignments as they can change from the time the meet program is sent out to the start of the meet.
  • Please check relays to make sure your swimmer is not in one before leaving.
  • JOBS: Most volunteers should check in at the Jobs Check-In table at least 15 minutes in advance. Timers will be called to their seats 10 minutes ahead of the meet at 5:05 pm.
  • NO dual meet on Saturday, 6/13. We'll be cheering on over 50+ swimmers at Devil Mountain Pentathlon (Invitational), June 12-14. Separate email to participating swimmers will be sent later this week. 
    

  THE FOLLOWING INFO IS BOTH FOR TEAM & MINI-FLYERS: 

• PERSONALIZED CAPS & TEAM SHIRTS (Mini Flyers also get a shirt): They are here and will be available for pick up this week: 
  • Wednesday’s meet (at the Merch table)
  • During practice - Thursday morning until 10:25 am
  • During practice Friday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
  • We will add more dates for next week as needed. We are still waiting on our Team Suits and will let you know as soon as they arrive.
• TEAM PICTURE DAY:  Friday, June 19, 8:45 am arrival for Team Photo
  • More info will be sent about individual and buddy photos and look for a flyer later this week at the pool.
• TEAM MOVIE DAY:  Friday, June 19, 2:00 pm, Pleasant Hill Cinemark (Toy Story 5), 25 Crescent Dr, Pleasant Hill, CA
  • Start: 2:00 PM (show up by 1:45 pm); End: 5:00 PM (estimated)
  • Forest Park has rented a 90 person theater just for our team! Come to our private showing of Toy Story 5.
  • Cost: $12, open seating; Order your ticket HERE, and pick it up from Marcie the day off between 1:30-1:50pm (ticket pickup procedure may change depending on movie theater procedure).
• BUDDY NIGHT:  June 20, 5:30-8:00 pm (RSVP & JOBS will be open soon)
  • Come to the biggest Forest Park party of the year - Buddy Night!
  • No buddy? No problem. Come anyway.
  • How much? FREE
  • Time - Drop off your child at 5:30 pm and pick them up promptly at 8 pm. This is a drop-off event except for children ages 5 and under who must be accompanied by a volunteering adult.
  • Activities - Lawn games, crafts, volleyball, DJ, photo booth, and more!
  • Food - Pizza, drinks, fruit, snacks, chips and desserts
  • What to wear - Dress up with your buddy in twinning Hawaiian clothes. No Buddy? Just wear Hawaiian clothes!
  • Water Polo Game - 8:00 pm, 13 & Up only.
  • Note: This is a non-swim event, so unless it's a costume or you're planning on playing water polo, leave your swimsuit at home.
