Greetings Flyer Families,

In case you missed it, we are so excited to be hosting our very own Pop-Up Invitational, SUNDAY, July 12, 9 am to 2 pm (estimated end time) at Northgate High School!

This is a great opportunity to try out offering an event that has the potential to be done as a yearly fundraiser that would offset team expenses and lower registration fees!

Swimmers from Las Trampas, Pleasant Hill Dolphins, Rancho Colorados, and Sun Valley teams will attend.

This is an all-hands-on-deck moment for our amazing Flyer community. A few key things to note in order for this event to be a success:

ATTENDANCE: Our swimmers do not need to pay to participate. It is an all-team event, and we hope to have as many members of our team there as possible.

• By WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 5 PM, for each of your swimmers, sign in (select attending) or sign out (select not attending) on our team website (SwimTopia). Do not leave your swimmer’s meet entry status as “undeclared” - we are aiming for the highest level of accuracy for our meet entries.

JOBS: In order to share the load, every attending family will be expected to volunteer. Our hope is to make shorter shifts so that everyone has the opportunity to contribute and also enjoy the day, cheering on our swimmers.

• We will have a variety of jobs to fill helping out with logistics, snack shop, timing, and more!
• Tuesday, July 7: We will open jobs on SwimTopia.
• Friday, July 10, 5 pm: Deadline for participating families to sign up for a job slot.
• Saturday, July 11: We will assign the remaining slots to those who have not signed up and send out the final assignments.
• Even if your swimmer is not participating, we welcome any help, so feel free to sign up and join the fun!

TRANSPORTING OF EQUIPMENT: Have a truck? We will need assistance hauling chairs, tables, tents, etc. to Northgate from our pool. Respond to this email to let us know if you do have a truck and are willing to assist with transport.

We are calling every Forest Park family to come together and help put on a great event - fast pool, fast competition, and good vibes. Let's ride the wave and build a legacy this year!
